My Favorite Tree

Ever have that one thing that just pulls at you and you want to photograph over and over? For me, it’s this beautiful elm tree that is alone in a farm field. For a couple decades I’ve admired this tree. I thought it would be neat to photograph it in all 4 seasons.

During period of time with a new job, I passed it daily and eventually realized that I should stop and photograph it. So almost every Tuesday from May 14, 2019 I photographed it for 2 years. I still do here and there when I pass it or know the sky will be just right. Unfortunately it was hit with west elms disease and is no longer alive, though still provides beauty.

It was amazing how many others love this tree too! And how often I’d get tagged in either a photo of this tree or another cool tree.
